CHAMPION EXPLORATION ^CX_C was formed in 1982. 

The company is owned by two principals.  CXC employees or engages multiple consultants in various capacities.

Champion holds interest in several hundred thousand acres of leases, royalties, minerals, and prospects in various stages.

Champion generates prospects, recovers its risk capital through industry promotion, and retains interest in the lands promising of production of hydrocarbons.  While our expertise is not operations, CXC participates in all projects we generate in a non-operated capacity.  The operational distraction and inherited liability does not fit within our risk profile.

The CXC strategy allows preservation of capital while enjoying underlying interest in rich oil and gas areas dependent on the risk dollars of industry partners to develop the assets.  Champion has successfully stayed the course of its time tested business strategy.
